Book Review: “The Art of Readable Code”

Last weekend, while I was searching for best practices in naming variables and methods in Ruby, I came across “The Art of Readable Code” on Amazon . The table of contents and the first twenty or so pages in the preview looked pretty useful, so I decided to post a link to this book even though I haven’t finished reading it yet.

In short, the book promotes the idea of writing code that is easy to understand. It demonstrates many practical techniques illustrated by code examples from different programming languages. The book is also available on O’Reilly website and Safari Book Online.
